What is PBL (Project Based Learning)?

Here at IDEA Center High School we incorporate project based learning into our cirriculum in order for students to practice their problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and presentation skills.

Project Based Learning is a teaching method where students learn by actively engaging in meaningful projects where they will create a prototype, construct, often reconstruct, present and reflect on their project.

Students at IDEA Center engage in PBL within their individual classrooms, as well as a whole when we engage in campus-wide projects such as our IDEA Center quilt project in 2022, and our carnival game project in 2023.
